olimpia zagnoli

i found olimpia zagnoli's website on it'snicethat.
i really like the 50s simplicity of her work and it reminds me that digital illustration isn't all bad... see more of her work here.

emma ferguson

you've probably seen emma ferguson's stuff somewhere, at some point.
the game boy purse? that's hers. the tattoo style leather brooch? yep, that's hers too.
if you've ever come along to a fine city friends fair, you'll have seen her wares on our stall.
her sewing skills are really quite incredible. this girl is one to watch...

lizzy stewart

I like to browse illustrationmundo sometimes- and very occasionally i come across an illustrator whose work i really like.
today, that's lizzy stewart. from her website, i've gathered that she's at college in edinburgh. and here's her website address: www.abouttoday.co.uk.

zara gardner

well, i could be accused of nepotism... (is it nepotism when it's friends or does it only count if it's family? I'm not sure...) but "my friend Zara" is a very talented illustrator. Especially, I think, in the magical realm of children's books.
I admire her ability to draw "properly" rather than just doodling like me. and her sewing skills are quite incredible. AND she makes a good banana smoothie!
Here's her website... www.zaragardner.co.uk

bethan algieri

i remember seeing bethan algieri's work in an issue of plan b that i had work in too, and feeling jealous because her illustration was much nicer...
this was the image (above). it makes me think of michelle thompson or eduardo recife.
i also really liked these images (below) from her website, www.skewedreality.co.uk.

mique moriuchi

i was lucky enough to have this lil' lady as a tutor during my time at the norwich school of art and design. i'm a big fan of her work- her collages are beautifully put together.
and she also happens to be a lovely person too, with excellent taste in keyrings.

julia pott

i'm a bit worried that miss pott might think i'm stalking her, since i seem to be constantly sending her e-mails and facebook pokes saying, "oooh, i just love your work sooooo much! i have all your zines! i like your stylish hair!"
i "discovered" julia pott at this year's D&AD show, where her work really stood out amongst a lot of crap. have a look at her website. it's really good.
