marie walgraeve, also known as marmushka, is an illustrator from Ghent in Belgium (I have been discovering a lot of great Belgian artists recently!) She draws lots of girls, as you can see... she says "I wish I was better at drawing boys. If I do draw them, I tend to give them moustaches or beards because it makes them look more masculine. And also, there's something mysterious about men with beards". She is influenced by -among other things- music, My Little Pony and Murakami's books. find her on flick...
